AK Nemo show or Lion King?

When we stepped out of the theater (for both shows) we said to each other I can't believe we skipped these shows for so long! They are both fantastic in their own way.

And, let's not forget DAK's, "Flights of Wonder" show.

Nemo was a retelling of the movie while men and women carried around "fish puppets." The Lion King was much better.

I love both shows, but if I was only going to see one, I'd pick FOTLK.

I shed a few tears every time I go see Nemo and they get to the song where Nemo sings about how his dad isn't brave enough to come for him, though.

I have seen both shows and the FotLK a whole lot. I enjoy both shows, but since you have yet to see the Nemo show it should be a priority. You should get a FP for a showing.

If you haven't seen Nemo, see it although I think Lion King is a better show. I've seen Nemo twice and never need to see it again mostly because almost all the Disney shows are acting out movies that, due to young children, I have seen 8 billion times. A live cast doesn't make 8 billion and 1 much more special so I find most of the shows to be disappointing. I really appreciated the amount of original content in FotLK. The first time I saw Nemo, I was fascinated by the interaction between actor and puppet. But the second time there was not much to keep my attention.

We only have time to see one of the shows, which one do you recommend? We've seen the Lion King show before (5 years ago!), it was amazing and would love to see it again! But never saw the Nemo show - is it as good as Lion King? My DD11 seems to think Nemo is for 5 year olds so we should go see Lion King. What do you think? And should we use a Fastpass for the show?
Thanks!

I found both shows ok. What I liked most about them was getting a break from the late August heat which always feels hottest in AK.

I plan my family trips around what my kids want to see so I'd talk with your daughter to make the plan. If she really thinks Nemo is for little kids then it may be best to resee Lion King.

I thought the Lion King was a slog to get through. I liked Nemo more.

This is how I feel too, we never saw Lion King until our last trip and I was so excited but then I was so bored by it. We have seen Nemo a few times and I've always enjoyed it.
