Does anyone know if AK still has that meal plan? I remember reading about it sometime last summer.

We laslt used this plan in May...so I am not of much help...but thought it was a GREAT plan!

I'd love to know more about this if anyone has any info.

The meal deal is 11.99 for adults and only 5.99 for kids.
You buy the vouchers at any of the counter service restaurants at AK - Pizzafari, Tusker House, Flame Tree Barbecue, etc.

You get 3 tickets

One for your main meal - includes an entree (and a side dish if one isn't included) and a fountain beverage of your choice.

One for a bottled water or soda from the kiosks

One for an ice cream treat or popcorn from the kiosks.

The child's deal is identical, except you must choose a kid's meal from the children's menu, and you get a child size drink.

The kid's deal is the best deal, as an ice cream and bottled water will run you about $6 at the vendors - so you get the meal for free.

The adult deal is also a good deal, especially if you order one of the more expensive meals. We split one deal between two adults, and had PLENTY of food. We went to Flame Tree and used two adult vouchers - one for the ribs, and one for 1/2 BBQ chicken, we got one with fries and one with onion rings. We got one large lemonade and one large Coke to split (They were HUGE.) We didn't finish all this food. On our way out of the park, we grabbed two ice cream cookie sandwiches, and broke them in half - a perfect sized snack. We also brought the water bottles back to the hotel for later.

You must use all portions of the voucher on the day you buy it!

That's a great deal!! I would like to see something like this at the Magic Kingdom too!

ditto that, Michmom! I was wondering why only AK did this. We did the meal deals with my family when we were there and it really did save us money.... because of the soda (or water) and popcorn (or icecream) later on. :)

This is a great deal! Last trip we used it at the Tusker House and for one adult and two kids the bill would have been $18.xx. With the cost of three ice creams ($7.50) and three sodas ($7.50) our total cost for this without the meal tickets would have been over $30. Wish the other parks would do this as well.
