Ok, we're two 20 somethings that have been to Disney before, so we're just hitting highlights this time. We also don't mind running around the parks to avoid long wait times. We are going to Disney the first week of May and going to EMH at Animal Kingdom. We only have a few days and are combining Animal Kingdom and EPCOT (our 2 least favorite parks) into one day. We plan on being there well before opening, ready to head straight for our first attraction. So...

Can someone please comment on our itinerary? Will this work?

1. Get FP for Expedition Everest
2. Ride Expedition Everest first
3. Ride Safari (how bad will the line be about 20-30 minutes into EMH?)
4. Head to Dinosaur (if it's 9:00 & the rest of the park is open)
5. Return to Expedition Everest (for 2nd ride = we love roller coasters!) w/FP

We are trying to get to EPCOT as early as possible to get a FP for Soarin'. We thought if we get there by 10:30, that should be good? Does that sound about right?

Also, I'm assuming that Expedition Everest will be open for EMH. Does anyone know for sure? I think we can see these 4 attractions in 2 hours, right?

Can anyone confirm / give advice / help?

Thanks so much in advance! :goodvibes

The plan sounds okay as long as you don't mind rushing about - I'd have thought you'd be pushing it to be at Epcot for 10.30 though - just simply down to transportation time.....

I expect EE to be open for EMH - you'll have a bit of a queue for the safari but not much I'd have thought and from my experience you shouldn't have too long for Dinosaur....bear in mind though that EMH mornings will bring more people than normal to the park.

A good rule of thumb is to allow about an hour when traveling between parks (unless you are taking the monorail between Epcot and MK)--it will probably be tough to be in Epcot by 10:30. If Epcot is one of your least favorite parks then you should still have plenty of time to hit the highlights if you arrive a little later than you planned. Have fun!!

Thanks everyone!

Anyone else?

When do FP for Soarin' usually run out? We are going early May, so I don't think the crowds will be that bad. We were there during Jersey Week and it was fairly crowded - the FPs for Soarin' were gone by 10:00 most days. Just don't want that to happen again.
