AK hours extended in August!

Hey everyone going in August! I was just looking at the hours on waltdisneyworld.com and they extended AK hours till 6pm instead of 5pm. I am not sure if they were till 6pm the beginning of the month, but I know we are going the last week of August and they were only until 5pm before. Good news-every little bit helps

Thanks for the heads up! Now if they will only extend MK hours for that week, or at least Friday, we will be all set.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for an e-ticket night Tuesday the 26th or Friday the 29th!

Me too! I thought for sure the hours would be at least the same as last year if not longer due to it being more crowded with the FTP deal. I was shocked when I ever saw 7:00 for Friday of Labor Day weekend. Even last year it was open until 8:30 with FITS and I was really counting on that for our last night. Im still hoping though.

I just checked and it says Ak closes at 5pm for the whole month of August!?

Check on the first day of the month. I printed out July back in early June. Today I pulled up park hours and seen where all four parks were increased 1 to 1/2 hours each day. This means more people, but we deal with it.
Everyone is there for the same reason right?

Uggg... you guys are right they changed the hours back to 5pm! From about 10am-4pm (the last time I checked) it was saying 9am-6pm for the whole month of August. This is so annoying because I changed our priority seating at Boma's to later because of this.

It did say 6pm I was going to change my PS to a later time also.

Obtain 2 priority seatings for the same day based on both schedules (who knows which one will end up being right). If they are going to play with the hours they probably expect that people will plan accordingly...
