Kidani GVs will sleep 14 people because there will be an additional sleeper sofa in the loft.
We just got back from Jambo house last night. We were given a tour of the grand villas there. They are all on one floor. They are absolutely fabulous!
I took some pics, so I will try to post some later (after I unpack). And yes, they do have a pool table!
Not to hijack the thread, but how did you get a tour of the GV? Did you just ask at the front desk? I would love to get a look at one at AKV.
Actually, according to my guide, the Kidani GVs will will only sleep 12. If you look at the DVC website, it says 12. He seemed to think that it is because of fire code rules or some such.
We kept on bumping into this guy, David, who was in charge of Mousekeeping on the Zebra trail. We would always see him in the hallway outside our room (5583). He is from Boston, as are we. So of course I chat him up. So one day when we were walking to the elevator, he says, "Hey guys, we're cleaning the Grand Villa, you want a tour?" And I reply "Don't threaten me with a good time!". So away we go, to tour the GV! DH took video and I took some shots with the still cam. I will upload them when DH gets home, because I don't know how! He also took us through a 1-bedroom, because we were only in a studio. What a great guy he was!
I just wanted to add that I was so impressed with our stay. We are new members. First time actually! And we are very happy with our purchase to say the least!
Wow thanks to both of you for posting the pictures. Now I need to find a way to justify at GV.![]()
Invite some friends for a party!!
I'm working on it! I just forwarded the thread off to my sister so that she can see the pictures and we can begin plotting ...er.. I mean planning.![]()
