ak boneyard closed sept/oct?

just read on wdw web page operational update. it said the boneyard would be closed sept20 to oct14. please say it's not so my dkids love the boneyard plus it help the kids wind down from walking around ak .

Yes it is true. The Boneyard is scheduled for refurbishment from September 20- October 14 (reopening October 15).

Somehow I'm not disappointed. It keeps my kids from wanting to play in the "giant sandbox" for hours while we all sweat away in the Sept. heat - LOL!

I'm still trying to think of a way to avoid my kids seeing it on our Dec. trip until we've hit a few of the bigger rides and attractions.

I am actually happy about that. That thing was so big and my kids kept going in tunnels and I am the type of person that have to have my eyes on them at all times. If only they can close the Huney I shrunk the kids one as well.
