AK before Harambe Nights

We arrive in the afternoon on August 9th. We originally did not schedule a park for this day. I decided we would go to AK from about 4:30- 7:00 when it closes (we do have another scheduled AK day). I have always heard how it empties out after 3 and it is easier to get on rides. I see that night is scheduled to be a Harambe Night after closing. Will that effect the crowd level in the park? Will it be more crowded the last 2 hours because of people arriving for this event. Just curious if my idea isn't as good as I first thought.

The event attendees will be going to the reception and not riding lots of rides.

Not sure. We are going to the party and are arriving at 4:00 to get in a few hours of touring before heading over to the party at 7:00 (when it starts)

I suspect a fair number of folks will do this as you get your seating for the show based on when you arrive. Earlier arrivals get a better "section" in the auditorium. But, that said, only something like 1000 tickets are sold for a given night (limited to what the auditorium holds) so it shouldn't make much of an impact on the park, in my opinion.
