We will be going to Disney again this year in mid-June. We have always done MK and MGM, this year we are considering AK instead of MGM. We have children ages 6, 4 and 3 are they too young for AK?

If not, which is the best day for AK? Also, is one of the EE days (Monday/Friday) better?

After MK, my 3yo DD's favorite park is AK!! She's been going there since age 14 months and has always loved this park. They have some wonderful shows here your kids will probably like a bunch. DD loves Festival of the Lion King and the Pocahontas Show. The Tarzan show she thought was cool too. And of course the safari and the animal walking trails your little ones will probably enjoy. DD also loves TriCeratops Spin in Dinoland. Make sure you visit the Boneyard playground with its huge slides and dinosaur sand excavation site - Very cool kid areas!!! Kalie River Rapids was the first "big" ride DD was able to ride on as you only have to be 38 inches tall. She tought it was so great she got to go on a "big kid" ride and laughed herself silly with all the turns and getting wet. They also have a nice parade near the end of the day at AK. We also see lots of characters too here which our DD just loves. IMHO AK has lots more to do for a little on than at MGM.

I think any day is fine for you all to visit, whatever works best for your schedule.

MinnieGi.......Thanks for the quick relpy:D

It sounds great...I guess we just love MK and MGM so much that it's hard to let go and try someplace different. Well, let the planning begin!:D

I agree that AK is great for kids that age and Minnie hit a lot of the high points. Don't miss the safari, either. I'll also mention that there also are great character meet and greet opportunities.

It may be my imagination, but AK does seem a bit more expansive than the other parks, which means that there can be more walking involved. That's the only thing I'd take into account with little ones along.

We were at AK when DD turned 6 and just a few weeks before DS turned 6. You should have seen the look on his face when the water from one of the falls on Kali River washed completely over his head! He still talks about it more than one year later.
