Airtran December 2011

Anyone have any idea when December flight schedule will be released. I know southwest will release theirs around May 26th but not sure about Airtran.

Also, are flights cheapest when you book them the day they are released?

AirTran is usually about 2 weeks behind the Southwest release date.

NO. The rates are usually pretty high when they are first loaded into the Airtran system. I usually wait until their first sale for that time period and then I buy. For example, I just bought our tickets for October about a week ago when the sale was announced for flights through Nov 2. Flights that were $129 to $172 each way were on sale for $89 each way so I jumped. When the flights are first loaded, they are often around $350 each way!
