Airport Travel...MagicBands

Hello! My trip is in 11 days and I am starting to put my carry-on together. I am not sure what to do with the MagicBands and hoping someone has some good advice! Do I carry-them in the box? Put them in a baggy? Wear them at the airport? What does it mean with security?

I'm just throwing all mine in carry on bag.. nothing special.. and dont wear them thru security...

We put ours on once we got on the plane! You'll need it for Magical Express!

I put mine in a baggy in my carryon. I didn't want to wear it on the plane in case it came off. I put it on when I got to the DME area.

There is no reason you can't wear them through security. We put them on before we left home for the airport. They stayed on fine and went through security fine, too. You will want them if you're using DME (you can also use the little booklet you received, but it was fast and easy to use the MB -- we passed a few people digging around in their carry-ons looking for the booklets or their MBs).

Why would you think these couldn't be worn through security? It's just like wearing a watch or bracelet.

I leave mine in my carryon. When we get to the gate, I put it on. No need to wear it on the plane. But, people get excited and want to wear it.

As stated dont wear a watch, and I just figured they would have to come off anyway. I have since been corrected.
