Hi all,
Having had a bad experience with Thomas Cook at sanford airport last November regarding our shuttle ride, we have decided this time round we would find alternative transportation to get us to International Drive.
What I need from you guys are your views/experiences on any town cars. Which one would you recommend me to use - and which ones to stay away from.
I'm reluctant to take a taxi, as the one the Thomas Cook put us in on our trip, was a disgrace and only fit for the scrap yard - the driver was no better charged us one price at the airport, and by the time we got the hotel he had added an extra $20 for the tolls and his tip.
Had no choice but to pay - but claimed everything back from Thomas Cook (which i might add was a nightmare, but i was determine to get my money back at the resort and not wait until I got home) lucky for me they cough up.
I also complained to the company when I got home, for the hassle I was given at the airport, and the fact I had to chase their rep's for 8 days to get my money back. Thomas Cook wrote me an letter of apology with a 100.00 cheque enclosed. So its worth complaining to these travel companies if you are not happy with things on your holiday.
