Airport to hotel question

What is the transportation form the Airport to the resorst like? Can we catch a cab from the Airport to the CBR? Or should I call and reserve a limo? We get there on Sat.(7/5). This may seem like a dumb question, but its going to be the first time for my girlfriend and I. Thanks in advance.

A cab can be quite expensive, as you are charged for the mileage and the time (the more red lights the more it costs) as well as for tolls.
I would suggest using a town car service, FL tours is a sponser of this board. I have not used them personally but they get good reviews. I have used Tiffany Town Car, there is also Your Ride and Cartier.
The nice thing about a town car service is that they are waiting for you in the luggage pick up area, and they take you directly to your resort, or if you want you can ask to stop at the grocery store. No stopping at other resorts, like Mears does.
Once I started using a town car service I never used a shuttle again. I am going by myself this September and even though the shuttle may be cheaper, I like the convenience of a town car.

A towncar is definitely cheaper than a cab. We use Happy Limo and really enjoy the towncar experience. Your question isn't silly at all. Before we knew any better, we used to use the Mears shuttles. They are a cattle call, with the vans or buses filled to capacity and lots of stops before yours. With a towncar, you are the only passengers, and you are taken directly to your hotel. Happy Limo is the only way I would go now!
