airport shuttle tippping? how much and when?

just getting a final budget worked up-

we are taking a airport shuttle from our home to the AP and then it will pick us up at AP again
the night we come back....so two seperate legs.
what is suggested for a tip?
and when do you give the tip? at the end, right away? we have never done this before.....

Tip approximately 15% of the cost of the individual trip at the time of the trip. IOW, if the total price is $100, then one way is $50 and 15% of that is ~$7.50. I'd probably round-up from there, especially if the driver was a big help with the bags. You want to tip both ways separately since you might not have the same driver both times.
