Airport Lounges

We are going in October and was thinking about booking the virgin lounge at Manchester when it opens, has anyone used there lounges before, and is it worth the money, we wanted to have a bit of quiet and some breakfast before we fly but we are unsure if we should virgins lounge or the airports own.
your thoughts would be helpful.

We have booked the V-Room at MAN on the 18th October, it was that or a hotel and we only live 23 miles away so first time in a lounge it was. Be interested in Gatwick V-Room experiences ourselves.

We are going on the 14th October and did look at a hotel but thought we would look at the lounges as we are not travelling far to Manchester either, we have not booked any yet, my travels on the 1st October and they have booked the service air lounge as the other one is closed but they are 6 lads going and thought the virgin one was a bit expensive.
