I am looking to book a hotel near to Manchester Airport for one night 21st May to 22nd May.

Last year we stayed in the Radisson which was great but at close to £100 per room I was hoping to get something a bit cheaper.

I have looked on Expedia and they have Bewleys for £69 I was going to book that with a £10 off code and go through quidco but the code expired in 30th April.

What other site do you all book that have good deals or does anyone know of another Expedia code?

We booked the Radisson last month for our holiday in June.

Go it as a 'Top Secret' hotel via Last Minute.com - £75 and via quidco got £5.25 cashback - so not much more than Bewleys!

How do you know its the Radisson if its Top Secret?

I will have a look at this!

You can generally work it out from the price minus the discount it shows.
I've looked at the dates and to me it looks like it's the Radisson (but obviously I can't guarantee this!!) It's a 4 star - price £75 showing discount at 24% only 4 star hotel c£100 mark is the Radisson! Also read the decriptions and whilst not identical, they are very similar!;)

Just had a look for the 21st of May and it says there are no top secret hotels left :sad1:

We really loved the Radisson too, we have only stayed there once but I did have a good nights sleep that night the previous three stays at the holiday inn I hardly slept!

Should have got a Travelodge room in their sale last month.

My family room at Manchester is only costing me £9.
:cool1:

We always stay at the Radisson the night before we fly, and although it is more expensive than some of the other surrounding hotels we just see it as part of the holiday.
When we sit and consider how much our 2 or 3 week holiday is costing us the extra 30 pound that Radisson are charging (30 pound ish more than the competition that is) really doesn't seem to be a big deal.
It's worth it just for being that close to check in in my opinion.

We stayed at the Hilton in April :thumbsup2

£89 with parking for DD and myself.
Booked it through Holiday Extras and Quidco so got a great deal :)

Just chose the 'surprise' 4* option and you're told, at checkout, which one you'll be staying at :goodvibes

It's costing me £199 to stay at the Raddisson in Sept (with 15 days parking) as they don't do family rooms they do 2 connecting rooms.

DH told me it's the start of the holiday so go for it and who am I to argue! :lmao:

Also we plan to take the kids for a swim so that will be good.

I've booked it with my CC so have until 4.00pm the day of travel to cancel so keeping my eye out on other websites to see if i can get it cheaper. :thumbsup2

What a bargain. We go in August & won't get to the hotel until late the night before so this would do us. Where will I find it?

I agree that its a nice start to the holiday but if I can get the same hotel for less money I would prefer the extra in my pocket for when we get there.

We are all sorted now anyway we have the Radisson booked for £75 then another 7% cashback from quidco, great deal after a little help form another disser!

That is a good deal, and one I would have gone for if I had done the same as you and looked into it more.
Truth is I get carried away by it all, see what I want to book and book it - when really I should be searching for better deals before plunging in.
We have only recently found out about the joys of quidco so are now starting to check their retailers first. Maybe next time we will get a better deal.
Well done to you :thumbsup2
