Same. We went 2016 and 2019. No clue when we might go again. I always pictured bringing my kiddo when they turn 5 which will be this year but lots of things in life and the world have changed.Did my amazon purchase, it's clothing which is a category so should work without any issues, I know the flash offer is for any category but I needed a new clothing item so figured I might as well.
Not AM related but 10 years ago today we were at AK for the first time, and I wish we were back thereIt was the trip that started my Disney obsession, we've been back so many times since and having not one trip planned is weird.
Yep I get that. If someone had told my teenage self that as an adult I would have to decide and make dinner every night for the rest of my life....I would have tapped out right then and there! I'm done with it so I can only imagine how you feel.I am tired of making every single thing I eat all of the time, seriously exhausted! I enjoy being able to eat something at least similar to hubby and using bagged tortilla chips, ground beef and cheddar cheese lets us BOTH have nachos ( he has his own chips and get salsa). Yes, the only reason I'm looking for alternatives is to keep our money on this side of the border.
I totally get this. We took our oldest when he turned 5, then took his brother when he turned 5. When our granddaughter turned 5 we took her. It had become a tradition we enjoyed however when our grandson turned 5 Covid had hit and everything shut down. Life just got in the way.Same. We went 2016 and 2019. No clue when we might go again. I got an email from BMO about getting a Porter Credit Card that comes with a bonus of points, but I'm happy with my AM card for now.Looks like Porter and BMO are hooking up soon.

If you are on FB there is a group that is dedicated to this very thing. https://www.facebook.com/groups/256737941555793 Made in Canada-Canadian Products. I think that we need to consider that, although the company may be America owned, if the packaging is done here in Canada, we are supporting Canadian jobs. The easiest (not the most inexpensive) is to shop the local market if at all possible. Remember Made in Canada = 51% or more Canadian Product of Canada = 98% or moreYep I get that. Part of the problem though with "keeping money this side of the border" is that very, very few things are truly made here. Most of the ingredients/components come from elsewhere as does packaging. In your situation, food is a huge deal, I would honestly not worry about where it comes from. Buy the things you need that make life easier, that you enjoy, that give you piece of mind. That then frees you up to shift all other purchases to Canadian.
I have seen that group and I saw some misunderstanding and misinformation there. Hopefully as time goes on people will become more savvy about what they are doing/speaking of.If you are on FB there is a group that is dedicated to this very thing. https://www.facebook.com/groups/256737941555793 Made in Canada-Canadian Products. Happy Saturday Mel!
I've used the app with cards from AM at AK & Epcot. For some reason I never go the ones in HS or MK, not sure why, But presumably they would work there as well. I get the eVouchers and add them to my app. It was super easy to use. Also used at various places around Universal and at the Airport in Terminal C.Happy Saturday Mel!
Since you are the expert of using Starbucks gift cards at WDW, please confirm if Starbucks gift cards or App can be used to buy pastries or sandwiches at these Starbucks locations. Hope to use Starbucks eVouchers from AM to get breakfast or snack on the upcoming trip to cut cost. TIA!
- Main Street Bakery at MK
- Trolley Car Cafe at HS
- Creature Comforts at AK
- Connections Cafe at EP
Happy to report we used at all locations at all parks last April when we were there. We had breakfest sandwiches each day and a drink. Used the app. Used GC from AM and downloaded them into the app. No issues, and plan on doing the same this March in about 35 days.Happy Saturday Mel!

I've had them work everywhere at Disney and Universal EXCEPT the Starbucks in Citywalk at Universal. Didn't work there in 2022 or last December.Happy Saturday Mel!
