i have another question I hope my Disfriends can help with.

My Ds asked us to take his friend with us this time around and we are happy to do so. Here is the problem. We need to hurry and book tickets because we have a very rural airport with 1 flight a day. Problem is friend may have to return to a different city for family obligation the day before we leave for home.

Question is: if I buy a round trip ticket for him in case he can join us for all 12 days, what happens if he needs to return one day earlier and has to buy his own one-way ticket? Will it matter? 2 tickets from Orlando 1 day apart and the second half of the round ticket goes unused. Will it matter?

If your son's friend doesn't use the return portion of his round trip ticket, nothing will happen.

Other than wasting money and needing to buy a new tix for the day prior nothing will happen. I'm not really sure what you mean, by what will happen? -Do you mean in terms of you guys flying back? Nothing...other than they will most likely give someone else his seat, but it won't interfere with your travel.

Why not just buy a one way going and wait and see if he can do the return with you.

Thanks for the answers. This is what I figured. Won't effect us but was curious to see if it was a big deal with him having 2 tickets from same location on 2 days

Really not a waste of money as one way tickets are the same amount as round trip. $2 plus tax less. with only 1 flight a day into our airport it complicates things a bit

Is there a secret to getting cheaper 1 way tickets?
