I just read in Deb Wills newsletter today that it is possible to do airline check-in and get boarding passes at your Disney hotel even for non-participating airlines. Instead of going to the front desk you would go to the "concierge/guest services" desk to check in. You just couldn't check your bags like you can with the "participating" airlings.

This is news to me. Does anyone know if we do the same at our DVC locations? Since we always fly in on Alaska Airlines which doesn't participate it would be nice to still have the opportunity for early check in even if we couldn't check our bags early. I believe Southwest Airlines also falls into this category.

When we flew Southwest in Nov the front desk at OKW got our A boarding passes for us. They said we just had to come there to do it we couldnt just give them our confermation #. It was easy I dont know if that has changed we just took our own luggage from ME and checked it at the airport.

We printed our Southwest boarding passes at Saratoga in May at the Concierge desk also. they were so nice and it was very easy. I made sure we did it late in the evening so we did not have to wait in a very long line.

all you need is your confirmation number and a photo ID

I printed my SW boarding passes at the Beach Club guest services in June.

Good to know! We didn't even try last trip since we flew Alaska Air. That's a very nice convenience!

JoEllen, you can be assured that you can check in with Alaska at the concierge desk. We have done it at both BWV and BCV. They will give you the boarding slip too. However, if you are checking luggage, you still have to go allllll the way down to the end at the terminal for the Alaska counter. As we are from the same neck of the woods, I imagine you would take the nonstop from Seattle.
We leave this Sunday for 2 weeks at WDW!

Not only will the resorts do it, but so will Guest Services inside the parks. During our last visit, the 24-hr mark on our SW flight occurred while we were at MGM, thanks to a tip from a fellow DIS'er, I went to GS and they took me to a computer where I was able to do online check-in and print the boarding passes.

Just to clarify --- this is for airlines that have on-line check in and boarding passes. Basically, the lobby concierge is giving you interent access.

Yea! Thank you Lewis I hadn't realized Alaska Airlines had been recently added. That is great news!
