Southwest Airlines just launched a Take Along Special. Simply purchase
a discounted ticket and take along a friend on a companion fare for
US$30 each way. US Airways has also matched the same deal. Travel for
both airlines begins June 5 and runs through Oct. 26. The snag is you
must purchase your tickets by June 11. Southwest Airlines doesn't fly
out of Canada at all, so you'd have to get to a US hub. US Airways
flies out of Montreal, Toronto and Hamilton with the closest airport
for western Canadians being Seattle. "
