Airfare from NY

Can anyone give me an approximation on what they are paying for airfare next year to LAX (or I guess any of the surrounding airports).

I know I'm strange but I am already attempted to figure out NEXT summers vacation plans and am trying to decide between a one week Norwegian Cruise out of NYC or a 9 day trip to Disneyland/Los Angelos. I looked at airfare for as far out next year as I could get but it seems to be a vacation week so naturally more expensive. I looked at a month earlier (like I said just to get an idea) and they are coming up at $350 PP. I am thinking if I booked something as soon as it was released I might do a little better.

Its so hard to know what these high gas prices are going to do to airfares a year from now. I would plan to pay more then what you are seeing right now. Estimate high and you'll end up with extra spending money if they come in lower!

Well....we are flying in and out of San Diego from JFK this August and we are paid $370 per person. I MUST have a non-stop flight though, I know it was cheaper if we switched planes somewhere.

Also, we were thinking of this trip last summer and the airfare was much less then, so it may change for next year too. (And for the better!!)

It's so hard to tell, with the oil prices, the prices could be through the roof by then. But I'm leaving in 2 weeks for LA and flying out of JFK to LAX on Virgin America for $199 a person. We're flying back out of Oakland on JetBlue, but would have been able to get the same $199 fare from Virgin going back so round trip $398.00.

I would check with JetBlue from JFK to LGB (Long Beach) sometimes they have some great fares.

We're flying JetBlue from JFK to Long Beach this coming summer (August 30th-September 6) and we paid $886 for the two of us.
