Does airfare have to be purchased at the time of booking if purchasing thru DCL? We are looking at 04/04 (I know, a long way away!) for our cruise but may be living in another state by then. So, do I have to purchase airfare thru DCL now or can I add it later? Thanks

From what I have been reading on this board, I would book your own airfare - You save money and know the times of your flights and that you will be seated together.

I have read too many stories here - We have booked our own for our cruise in November - We saved a ton of money!

If you book airfare through DCL it is included in your total cruise price. You do not pay for it at booking, just the deposit amount, with the final amount due 60 days in advance. :)

I would book the airfare on your own, it will probably be cheaper.Just sign up for Travelocity's e-mail alerts, it will let you know if your prices have gone down, you can put down 4-5 different citys and airports. Most major airlines allow to book 11 months out. Some of the smaller airlines at 6 months out. You don't even have to start looking until May of 2003.;)
