Air Canada to Charge for Every Checked Bag to U.S.

Looks like AC has dropped prices on some flights to MCO. I have been watching WJ and AC for a friend who wants to go around the March Break in Ontario. AC is a couple of hundred dollers cheaper then WJ. Still very high compared to flying from the US.

This is why we always fly with Southwest out of Buffalo. They allow TWO FREE checked bags per person.

well my next air canada flight on oct 31 will prob be my last unless they are significantly cheaper than westjet next time i go to wdw

I think you can bet that WJ will match AC before long...and if they don't..AC will eliminate the fee. I agree with many here..they should have just increased fares by a small amount and no one would notice.

well we just flew Frontier, US airways and United out of the states and had to pay $25 per bag EACH WAY for our checked bag! for us that cost $100 each way...a good waste of $200 for sure! for that I could've gotten a better flight out of a closer city lol...

gotta love paying for checked baggage! And this is why for the next few years our vacations will be ones we can drive to!
