Those are AWESOME! I am very impressed.

It's actually hard to tell that thos were done digitally, and not the traditional way!
I actually am trying to get a feel of digital scrapping myself, and I was really excited to see your post. What did you use to get started? I have a link that someone here on the boards sent me, and I checked it out, but it's a little overwhelming. Do you have any advice to help me out? I noticed that you can do purely digital or you can mix, are you familiar with the mixing and doing digital but putting it together by hand?
Ha.. i was so stressed yesterday- tryin to read "tutorials" that were supposed to be for the "beginner!" LOL

Anyway - i ordered about 23.00 worth of stuff to start from
www.scrapgirls.com , but her tutorials were hard to follow for me..
I am using Photoshop Elements 3.0, (i think 5.0 is the highest available now), and i know you can get a free trial download at the Adobe website.
Then, i found
http://scrapbook-elements.com/sbe/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Itemid=109 And i started by reading her FIRST tutorial, and GOT IT!! LOL, i was so impressed with the way she walked you thru everything, i printed it out.. but, I realize i have SOOOOO much to learn..LOL, These layouts i did are BASIC, cut, copy, paste kinda stuff.. It is hard to walk someone thru it when i am still learning myself.. But, i suggest downloading a program (if you don't have one), and checking those two sites to start.. (who knows.. maybe the first site's tutorials will make sense to you!

)
Anyway - once you start playing with the layers (which was the hardest part for me to get), it is pretty basic principles.. I also read her tutorial about adding "styles and brushes" and did that as well - as i had bought some styles and apparently had NO IDEA what they were for, just looked cool! LOL
I think the main reason, i am going to like the digital thing- is b/c you can reuse a piece of paper or embellishment a million times if you want to..

for one price! And, they have so many cute kits out there, for like $5-$10, that have papers, embellishments, etc.. all to match! You can't get that with regular embellishments!! $$$$$ ! LOL
I don't know that i will ever "convert" to all digi, but i think i will try to do it more often!
Although - now i am thinking due to lack of cool WDW stuff, I might need a scanner in the spring - so i can make my own WDW digi stuff, by scanning in embellishments and Disney papers.. But, at least you can REUSE them!
