I just took a shower, and I can't stop itching. Certain soaps do that to me. Earlier today, I was so itchy I took benadryl and passed out.

Anyone else have sensitive skin?

My skin has become sensitive ever since I went away to college.

I currently have itchy-ish, red rashes on my neck (but only on certain days..I haven't quite figured out what is causing that) and on the inside of my elbow. My mom think it's some kind of non-dangerous viral virus that I had once when I was younger.

It's really annoying, but it hasn't bothered me too much lately. I just noticed that the inside of my elbows are red again. They looked like they've been getting better a day or two ago.

And I can only use Dove soap too, ever since I went away. Maybe there is something in the water that's doing that to my skin..

I have really bad exzema, so bad that if I use any soap that isn't dove I have a break out. And right now I have some wierd virus, parvovirus, That is causing my arms and neck and shoulders to break out in a rash and cause all sorts of other effects...

Julie that might be what you have to...It sounds similar to how mine started...as a rash on my neck and inner elbows. If your really tired and weak it might be it. But it has no effect other then makeing you sleepy and your limbs hurt.

My skin gets dry really easily.
I have literally not stopped being itchy since last November.

it's like just these dry patches all over and it's nasty, i think i had an allergic reaction to this lotion i've been using so i stopped using it and it still hasn't really gone away

it's itchy and red and awful...

could it also be due to the weather change??

I have sensitive skin aswell, I tend to use soaps and such from a store called Lush as its all natural (though its advised to check the ingredients and make sure your not allergic to them).

It could be. I have been kinda tired lately.
Do I need to go to a doctor for some kind of medication? Or does it just go away on it's own?

Aww I love Lush!! :lovestruc

My skin can be quite sensitive at times, gets dry very easily and is often very itchy and I have to careful with the washing powder used on my clothes, products I use etc

It goes away on its own. Theres no like actual treatment for it. They just told me to take bynadrly and advil...

hmm thats odd... then it probably is your lotion or something.

yeah i think so because i took some benedryl last night so i could sleep and the rash stopped itching too.

so i guess i just have to wait till it goes away :confused3

I have extremely sensitive skin. My skin gets itchy and blotchy every time I take a shower from the water. I've had it since I was really, really young.

I have sensitive skin too. I pretty much take a bath in lotion every day.
I have eczema too, so that doesn't help much at all.

After I take a shower,I mean EVERY TIME, The back of my ears itch. What is that?!:confused3 :headache:

My skin is sensitive to the stuff in acne medications. Benzyl peroxide or something like that. It gets so red and itchy...I hate it! It used to get dry and flaky in the winter but that seems to have gotten better in recent years, thank goodness!

Is it dry skin behind them?

Are you using hot water?

Do you wash behind them? Maybe your skin is super sensitive back there and you need a different type of soap there.

That is kind of odd.
