Has anyone done the Agent P's World Showcase Adventure in Epcot? Have two kids, ages 11 and 9. If you've done it did you/your kids like it? Or a waste of time? Is each adventure in ONE country and then you can choose another in a different country? Any info, advice is great:)

Yes, each adventure is in one country and then you can choose another adventure in another country. Our DS10 absolutely loves it and once spent 8 hours doing missions!! Our DD5 thinks they are just ok. We went on a trip with another family, their DS and DD didn't enjoy it at all so I think it's kid dependent. I would definitely give it a shot....it's a nice way to actually see some of the countries.

We only did one adventure our last trip... But i was so much fun. They are an adventure per country when you finish you can pick a new one or pick to turn you device in. My DD was almost 6 at the time and couldn't quite do it by her self, but your kids are old enough to fully understand and enjoy it.

Is Agent P similar to the Kim Possible one they had several years back? Thks!

my kids loved it, they did it with my husband. they were 9 and 5 at the time. they really enjoyed exploring epcot with it!!

My DS 14 and his cousin, 15, loved them this past summer. They did adventures in England, France (which had some technical issues), Germany, and China. Germany was their favorite. As PP said, I think it is kid-dependent. DS was a big Phineas and Ferb fan, so that may help, but he enjoyed the adventures when it was Kim Possible as well. Try one- if your kids don’t like it at least you can say you tried it!

I have tried it once and it was lots of fun!

Looking forward to trying the POTC one on my next trip!

Yes, very similar. Many of the effects are new, but a few are different. The big difference is that is all based on Agent P/ the Phineas and Ferb TV show- and they updated to new phones last summer.

Wait! POTC one??? What is this? We LOVE all things POTC...very curious what this may be:)

You get a treasure map at the "recruiting office" which is the small building between POTC and Frontierland. Use the map and your magic band to follow the clues to the treasure. It has some cool effects around Adventureland- and is great for POTC fans. It is almost a cross between Agent P and the Sorcerer's portals, IMHO. We personally like the Agent P ones better- POTC has a lot of back and forth criss-crossing Adventureland, and sometimes the clues are hard to spot or tell apart. I would recommend doing this one in the daytime the first time!

Asking as a woman in her 30s with a husband who loves him some SOMK, would Agent P be fun for only grown-ups, as well? We have no children, but could possibly borrow some if we would be getting weird looks doing the Agent P thing on our own. :hyper:

We saw adults playing on their own, and DH and I are 40+ and both enjoy it as well as our DS.

Thank you so much, Preemiemama! Not that I care about looking silly at WDW, but it would be disappointing if the game itself skewed too young for it to be interesting for us.

Not at all- you will probably figure out the clues a little more quickly, but it is still fun to do. :thumbsup2

DD6 and I did Agent P (England) and I thought it was fun. DD was a bit scared of some of the things that got activated... She's one of those people who do not like surprises. We were going to do the Pirates version at MK, but when she saw a cannon fire into a treasure chest (somebody else was playing), she decided she didn't want to do it.
We did the Sorceror's Magic as well, but I prefer Agent P. The latter just seemed more interesting.

My friend and I are in our late 20s/early 30s, no kids, big P&F fans.. loved the Agent P game ;) We also enjoyed the Kim Possible game, it's a nice way to explore World Showcase.

In a place where ADULTS wear Mouse and Dog Ears on their heads and don't get a second glance, you definitely won't get any playing APWSA!lol:)

We did them lots. :) Mostly this will depend if you are big P&F fans. If so, then it'll be fun. If not, you wouldn't get most of the running jokes that go w being fans of the show. We went to the extent to make our own P&F Mickey shirts for everyone in our family!

You don't need a lot of advice to do it, nor do you have to particularly plan for it. You just stop at any of the F.O.N.E. kiosks, which are clearly labeled on the map, and the helpful CM there will show you how to use it, ask you what country you want to go to, give you a quick tutorial, and send you off. The quest will take 30-60 minutes, but you can take your time, and just kind of do it along the way as you're doing other things. Thus, it's not like you're blocking off a 60-min time slot to do them.

In fact I think they help you tour, since they get you to go to corners of Epcot that would otherwise be completely unseen by a guest walking the main path.

Enjoy!

Agent P is a lot of fun. It would take a long time to do them all at once. We do one or two each time and ti keeps it fresh. The POTC one is neat but not as spread out. So you are crisscrossing in the area and waiting in line for others to finish to see what they just saw.
