I was just talking to my dad who lives in Lakeland area. My stepmoms DIL is gonna be working there and said they are starting to charge for 1-3 year olds.

Anyone been there and know from the last couple weeks?

I checked the Disney Rumor board and nobody has mentioned it. Maybe you should post it there and see if any of them know anything about it. If it's true then it's a big shame.

Are they talking about park admission or for everything, such as meals at buffets and family style restaurants? I sure hope this isn't something they are doing soon as my DD will be just one month short of 3 when we get to WDW in mid-September. All my budgeting is based on free park admission and many free meals. I didn't time it for that reason but definitely want to take advantage of the savings while I can.

Lisa - another Zoe's mom

(BTW - How'd you get the dots to appear over the e in Zoe? I also usually add those to her name when hand written or typed but don't know how to do so in the text used on this forum.)

Just got home this morning and 2 year olds are still 100% free. The only person who even asked her age was at animal kingdom and I told them she would be 3 Sept 8th. Then there was no problem. She ate free at buffets too. I have to tell you Chef Mickeys was so cuite. Mickey Mouse took her hand and kidnapped her to go visit other tables. She loved it. Mickey thought she was so cute too. (SO did me her grandam)

As long as the first day your kiddo enters the park of your vacation they are under three, they are free. If they turn three during the vacation, they will continue to be free for that trip.

Same goes for 9 yr olds who turn 10 during the vacation. They can continue using the child's ticket during that trip.

BUY THE SEAT! no matter what the age. buy the seat and fly the child in an FAA approved carseat.

I agree wtih this adivce for flying...but I think they are talking about park tickets and meals at WDW.

Hi!! I have a two year old and so far everything is free for him other than the plane ticket there. It seems kids start paying at age 3.
