Again - Which Park first?

I know this question has been asked many times before. But I would like to ask it again as the school holidays are over now.

We will be at Universal during the first week of October for 1 day and we want to do both parks. We have done the same last year and started with Universal Parks and in the afternoon we did IOA. But this was all pre-WWOHP.

What would be your advice for one day visitors? Does it make sense to do it in the same order? Or will the Forbidden Journey be too crowded in the afternoon?
Or is this a good idea as almost everybody will do FJ first think in the morning while also the onsite quest are there?

P.S. We will be there during a non HHN day if this makes a difference.

Thank you

Everything I've read, and that's a bit, says go in the morning. Be there in line ready to enter at opening and head over straight away. Do not Doddle, you can ride twice before it's out of control and see the shops. For a one day only trip I would consider the fast pass. It can't hurt.

i agree with 2tink...Go to hp and do Ollivanders first then fj (2x). Then walk around. Don't forget to use the side entrance for US (behind hard rock cafe).

Thank you for your help. So we will do IOA first. I don't think that we will need the Fast Pass. Last year even the US employess said it would not worth it during this time of the year. And they were true. The longest we waited was for Spiderman 15 minutes. The rest were walk-ons.

And FJ is not included in the Fastpass anyway? Or am I wrong? :confused3

Is Ollivanders realy worth doing for two adult not-sooo-big Harry Potter fans?

You're correct. FJ is not included in the Express Pass.

I would also say that Ollivanders isn't worth it and we are 2 adults that ARE into Harry Potter! But everyone is different. Just IMHO. :)

forget Olivanders, ride FJ as much as possible that's more than worth it...viel Spass!!!

We will be there on a Monday. Last year it was a Saturday and the parks were empty. So I hope for the same this year.

Sorry, I'm a newbie. Please tell me more about the side entrance.
