after renting an ECV..where to park before a ride?

Thank you for the great advice in this thread. My sister is making her first trip to WDW in September and has to use an ECV.

All of this great insight saves a lot of stress, thank you again.

Tower of Terror - ECV's have to be parked somewhere, and I don't know where.
Solo travelers can take an ECV thru the ToT exit to the "Express Elevator" (the real elevator.) You have to ask the cm at the ride entrance, and they will call ahead to let them know you're on the way, as you need to be accompanied to the elevator. I don't know whether there's a restriction on the size of the ECV; I use a travel one. There is a short walk from where you park to the elevator.

If you're not alone, they will provide a transfer wheelchair at the ride entrance and ask to have a companion push you thru the queue. Parking is usually along the wall opposite the entrance.

suffice to say, the ECV was a disaster. we went on one ride, it got soaked, and we had to return it, my wife was soaking wet, like dripping. plus its incredibly difficult to manuver the park in an ECV...way too many people

I'm ao very sorry to hear of your experience. As far as maneuverability, were you by chance in the MK? I haven't spent time in that park on an ECV, but might expect it to be difficult. Bad weather's no fun!

Yes MK was packed that day. Super hard to maneuver around the park, spend time looking for parking. Such a time consumer.

It definitely doesn't save any time using a scooter. The time to make it through crowds and the time to park, use up any time you save.

But for some, that is the only way we can get around in the park.
