After DiveQuest?

Has anyone done the DiveQuest at EPCOT recently? We did it 2 years ago, and we were allowed to exit the dive through The Seas gift shop and remain in the park. I just read a review on another site from a person who said they were escorted back out of the park. I wanted to see if this was an isolated incident or if this is a change in Disney policy.

That is a good question, we have done DiveQuest every year. Last was April 2016 and we were not escorted out, we left the the tour through the Seas gift shop and stayed to watch Illuminations. We did have tickets for the park, but were never asked to scan them after the dive.

That's good to hear. We were planning to eat dinner in the park after the dive, but we didn't want to make plans in case it had changed.

May 2016 was the last time my husband did it, and he was let go in the Seas as usual. I hope they don't change this - although he will have an annual pass next visit, normally we don't buy them. And he enjoys diving on an off day so he can hang out in the parks alone without the kids and me for a bit.
If anyone hears anymore reports of being escorted out, keep us all updated!
