I ride BTMRR with DGD all the time, she only rides coasters if she can hold my hand. The difference in size and the lap bar is no issue. She stays in the seat and is perfectly safe
Physics. If there's a shared lap restraint, it's not there to actually physically hold you in. It doesn't matter if it doesn't come down touching the child's knees.
If you see a tall person, not really skinny look at the seat funny figuring out how to get out, it's me.
But jeepers it was hard to get out of there!
It's just too rough, and I was in there alone, and I'm tiny and I was flying all over the seat, I couldn't really hang on and stabilize myself. I ended up with bruises on my hip/leg. Maybe if I was in there with someone else to wedge me in there more. Still, on both of them, it really bothered my neck, so I just shouldn't.
