Advise needed from a loveable Ursula sized woman

OP--there is a thread under tips and tricks I believe, called "The Everything Pooh-Sized Thread". I highly recommend you read it; it will ease any concern you gave!! I'll go bump it for you. Report back and let me know if you find it.

Also, although 7DMT is really uncomfortable, I think you will fit. The ride is short but fun. And, by the way, I think it is uncomfortable for anyone bigger than a 10-year-old.

I bumped it for you. It is 95 pages long. I suggest you start at the end and work your way backward. That way, you are starting with the most current info. ENJOY YOUR TRIP!!

To the OP - I'm the opposite - 5 feet nothing and about 110 pounds and I have the same issues in reverse :) because I used to think I'd slide out from the restraints. However, what I have found is that Disney takes no chances with ANYONE. I have never seen a larger person turned away from a Disney attraction nor have I seen a larger person been made to feel uncomfortable with a loading or unloading process. If you feel uncomfortable about riding in a vehicle, just tell the Cast Member at the entrance of your concerns and you will be taken care of. I've been to Disney World over 60 times, in various stages (wearing a neck brace, in a wheelchair, pushing a wheelchair, with youngsters, with oldsters, with larger people) and no Cast Member has ever acted like anyone in our party had a green face.

Go, have fun and be happy.

My ex was 5'7, 335 lbs, 48J chest and didn't have much trouble.

Space mountain was a no go and rides such as BTMR where you can sit two per seat gave us some quality cuddle time but we made it work :)

Her biggest issue was bouncy rides like Dinosaur. Almost had a few wardrobe malfunctions on rides like that...

Other than that no issues!

You guys are great, SERIOUSLY! I'm slowly reading my way through the pooh thread and loving it! One thing that I haven't found yet is dimensions of the seat width on 7 dwarfs. I see the 13 1/2 across the bar measurements but wondering if anyone has ideas on how wide the actual seat where you sit is?

As others have shared you should have no issues on most rides at WDW. The ones that I find are tight (not a no go, but a little tight) are tea cups and 7Dwarf ride. It's all in how you put your legs in the restraint on this one but it isn't very comfortable. I will confess Space Mountain is a slow disembark but nothing I can't handle. Finally, the only other ride that is a little difficult when riding with an average passenger is Primeval Whirl - that one is fine if you are the only one in your side of seat.

Go and have fun!!!

Wide enough for my butt to fit without issue. The bar over the legs is snug for sure but it does go over them. The seat isn't snug at all.

lol seriously I am about 125 and I can barely get out of that thing! I think last trip I actually pulled a muscle! I usually wear sundresses with yoga shorts on underneath, and I swear I always feel like people think I am inappropriate on space, with my legs all over trying to get out!

I'm 5'8 and 230lb and size 18/20 and was able to ride 7DMT. It was a bit uncomfortable but totally doable.
Another ride that gave me a little trouble due to my wide hips was Astro Orbiter. It was a little hard getting out of that sucker ;)

I am close to your size/stats and I had no problems at WDW except for 7DMTR smooshing my knees. For things like Test Track I usually pull the seat belt out ALL the way first and then tighten it once it's clicked-in place. Another tip is to make sure whatever you bring on the ride bag wise is small or give it so someone else. I didn't always have room to shove it under my legs to the point where I felt secure.

Yes, I had forgotten about that tip. I grab the tab and pull it out before I sit down. It can be hard to reach around and dig between me and whoever is next to me for the tab. It makes it easier and then I have space to sort of twist to move enough to get the belt clipped in. The good news is the belts are plenty long enough do to that (as compared to an airplane seat belt, where I am at the maximum to fit without an extender)

Im 6'3 320lbs and rode everything. This was before 7DMT. I'm going to give it a try in December and hope for the best. I'm lowering my expectations though so I won't be disappointed.

I'm 90% sure they have seat belt extensions if needed for those rides with a seatbelt style restraint. I've seen CMs that check your in carrying them but never seen them use them with anyone so I can't really confirm they do this if needed.

I wanted to bring up a space mountain trick. Being taller, I can't ride in the first seat of any car, but the second and third seat you can put your legs under the seat in front of you and then I fit with no problem.

Sorry, but Disney really blew it with the Mine Train. Everything else you should be able to ride.
A brand new ride that doesn't accommodate plus sized riders? Smh! Based upon the pictures, anyone with long legs might have a problem too. There doesn't look to be much leg room at all!

Good luck OP! Sounds like for the most part you should be fine. Have a great time!

I'm 5'7" and a size 28 (with a couple of pounds on OP) and I could ride everything I wanted to. The only things that were a little uncomfortable for me were 7DMT (like everyone says... we fit, but it ain't exactly comfortable), the teacups (more awkward than anything else), and Splash Mountain (it may have just been because we were in the first seat and it was our last day, but my knees were in agony by the end... I just couldn't find a position where they wouldn't ache).

Contrast that to Universal where I rode exactly 4 rides over 2 days... I love Harry Potter, but what a waste of money.

Nice to know its not just me. I'm very petite and I almost was not able to get out of the car at the end of Space Mt. I was starting to panic. I went on alone and there was no one to help me. My arms are very weak, I have bad peripheral neuropathy and I just couldn't pull myself out of there! I won't be able to ride it again anyway due to neck and back problems. :( But jeepers it was hard to get out of there!

DD LOVES Space Mountain, but getting out is challenging. I push myself up the back of the seat - kind of sliding up - then step on the seat. I actually found the Teacups to be the tightest fit for me because I have long legs that have to go somewhere. I fit fine in SDMT (I was really worried about it), except that my knees were really jammed in there.
