Advice required - thinking of surprise renewal of vows

I've recently come home (UK) from our first holiday to Disney (Orlando) was so fantastic, I'm already planning next years return trip.

I've been married coming up 10 years and thought it might be a good idea to surprise my wife with a small intimate renewal of our vows. We are travelling with my wife's parents.

How easy is it to organise - has anyone done this?
Can you point me in the direction of who I make arrangements with
How flexible are Disney - I.e. can I have a character at our 'small' private ceremony?

I dont want a great deal of fuss. A quiet ceremony for 4, preferably with a character such as Mickey or Minnie followed by a nice romantic dinner for 4.

If I want to have the ceremony on site - I.e. disney hotel etc, do I have to book a full package?

Do I have to stay in a Disney hotel, because we were planning on booking a villa like last year.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

If you havent, go to the disney weddings website and visit the vow renewals there. I know Im having a intimate ceremony and you can have great sites for that amount of people! Check it out

To have the ceremony on-property, you have to stay on-property as well, so the villa wouldn't work. However, if you are set on staying in the villa again, you could have an off-property renewal and then plan an anniversary dinner on-property. That's what we are doing, because having our renewal in a church was important to us (lots of Methodist ministers in the family tree!). With only four guests, you would not go through group dining for your reservations, but you could arrange something through private dining. An option you might want to consider would be a Wishes Cruise on the yacht, with a butler serving dinner to your family while the fireworks are going off! There are several options... just look through different threads here and get some ideas. Good luck! ~Ev
