Advice please! HHN weekends

We will be at US/IOA the Friday and Saturday night before Halloween. We will NOT be going to the Halloween Horror nights because we have small children.

Here are my questions:

What time do the parks close for "regular" guests?

Will there be too much scary stuff already set up??

What time do the parks close for "regular" guests?

IOA where HHN will be held will close at 5 or 5:30 to get ready for HHN. Studios will be open later, but only till 7pm or so.

Will there be too much scary stuff already set up??

IOA will have some larger props out, but nothing horrible - your kids should be fine. There will also be signs & banners up promoting HHN. These items are pretty tame, usually just having the HHN logo or "mascot".
Keep your eyes open as to what rides in HHN will be shut down - if they use the area for a house, there may be limited access during the day. (a lot of people are going before Halloween, so you should be able to find out what, if anything, is closed.)
