Hey all,

My fiance and I are scheduled for an intimate wedding at the Wedding Pavilion on October 17, 2006 with our direct families only and a few select family friends.

I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for the groomsman gifts and would also appreciate any bridesmaid gifts suggestions... I'd like them to be relatively unique and reflect the fact that the wedding was at WDW - and as we need only 4 gifts the monetary value of these gifts is not a major concern.

Also, my fiance really wants to have her picture taken in front of Cinderella's castle with her wedding dress on, however, I understand that the parks prohibit the wearing of wedding dresses. I was wondering if because our event falls during the MNSSHP dates if she could wear the dress as her 'costume' - or if anyone knows of another way to accomplish this.

Thanks for the help,
Scott

Disney does Magic Kingdom Bridal Portrait Sessions in front of the castle. They pick you up at the hotel at 6am, so the pictures are done when no one else is there. We're having the photo session done the morning of our wedding. It costs $800 to have the photos done. This is the only way you can have pictures done in front of the castle in your wedding attire.

I know that Disney Floral is coming up with some ideas for embroidery of different items. I am not sure when this project will become active but that is an idea. The other thing maybe is a Lennox piece for the girls for bridesmaids gifts or the traditional jewlery. For the guys, maybe a pin and a golf outing, fishing, or the driving experience. I think that guys like experience more than acutal gifts. We got our groomsmen gifts that reflected their interest. Another idea, is depending on how much you wanted to spend. Do a Bridal Party only Wishes cruise. Either on the Grand 1 (which is really pricey) or on another boat. The other thing you could do is use events of a lifetime I think it is called. They can arrange for special things as well as the Disney Florist. It would be fun to do a scavenger hunt to help them find their "gift".
