Advice on renting points

I booked a trip using my DVC points for family members and now they are canceling the trip. The problem is they wanted the Yacht Club. So now my points are no longer vacation club points, they are reservation points.

I don't need the points this year and can't transfer them back to vacation club points. So how show I list this on the rent / trade board?
Reserved Yacht Club Nov. 9th & 10th. Or 132 "Reservation" points to rent.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How about,"I caved to my stupid familie's wishes and now I'm stuck with a regular room ressie"! Actually, I think I would try selling the ressie as is for now, and if that doesn't work, then offer the reservation points.

Or...advertise the confirmed ressie as is and add that it can be changed to GF, AKL, etc, subject to availability, of course. I doubt if the term "reservation points" would mean much to a prospective renter.

The good thing is that you have some time, so I wouldn't panic.

I hope your family members appreciate what a mess they dumped you in.
