Advice Needed: Sanford Transportation

I'll be flying into Sanford on a Wednesday night...does anyone have any advice for what sort of transportation I should use to get us to the Pop Century resort?? There are 3 of us travelling...

I'm flying into Sanford for the first time in November. I have a compact (Dodge Neon) reserved with Dollar for pickup at the Sanford Airport at $119.95/week with the vfget rate code. We like the flexibility of having our own transportation. Hope that helps.

Be careful, the rental agencies in Sanford are not open 24/7. Dollar closes at 8:00p on Tuesday and 10:00p the rest of the week. The towncar companies charge more for.

Dollar does claim that it will meet all late arriving flights, but you might want to confirm this with them.

If you have an early flight out, I'm not sure you can return your car to Dollar before the counter opens. We ran into this issue in June so we switched to Hertz which has a key drop-box at the counter for after-hours returns. We used this with no problem.

Thanks guys for all your advice about renting cars..but does anyone know of a shuttleish service...kinda like Mears...that can take us one way??

I think a towncar service wouldn't be much more than the shuttle. It looks like the shuttle buses and towncars are about twice the price from MCO. Try call
