hi, I want to take my kids to Orlando in jan 2014. a few days ago airfare on AA was 332, today it dropped to 310. Should I buy now, or do you think it might drop again? It's a 3 day weekend for school, so we'd still have basically three full days, but I'm also still debating whether to take a late flight out on Friday night so the kids and I don't miss work/school, or whether to take Friday and come earlier.

thanks!

Posting which airport and which week/weekend in January will help responding posters. :thumbsup2 For example, first week would probably be different than, say 3rd or 4th week.

Never mind. American just jumped the price $50 pp so forget it. Ill either pull the kids from school that Friday and go spirit or just not go at all.

FWIW - We're out of Detroit, we travel that time of year and we often wait until Oct. That time of year tends to be slow for travel & will drop down. Most families/people don't travel a lot then. I bought 2011 tix in Aug, 2012 in Oct, but most of the last 10 years or so I bought airfare in Oct-Nov. Good luck! pixiedust:
