Just need some advice on your day since this park is quite tricky! We are planning on purchasing Genie + but as I noticed, everything is gone so fast.
We have a couple adults and a few little kids headed there soon. One child is too little for a few of the headliners. They really want to do Toy Story Land and Slinky Dog. I would like to do Tower since that was always one of my favorites.
We will try to get there for early entry since we are staying on site.
Our must/like to dos are:
-Slinky
-Tower
-Runaway Railway
Should we still try to book Slinky first or try to get all of Toy Story Land first thing? Should we book Tower first? We were thinking of booking Slinky, heading to Runaway railway first, then do the rest of Toy Story Land.
I am trying to really lower my expectations - even with paying extra to help our cause, and hauling our little kids there super early. It just seems like it is almost pure luck of the draw to get 2 good Genie + LL in a day.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

I think either option would work but if you do Slinky during early entry, you need to get there very early, which will involve a long wait for the ride to start operating. I think your other option might be better:

Get Slinky LL first (if you don't get it first, you won't get an LL for Slinky).
Do Runaway Railway during early entry, then Toy Story Mania (and the wait shouldn't be too long).
Then get Tower for your second LL (this will almost certainly be an evening time, so you may want to consider a mid-day break and then return for the evening. Your Slinky LL time is likely to be late in the day also.)

Different time of year, but when we were there in January, we rope dropped ROTR, and then I think we did Star Tours after that (because I love it and it's always a short wait), and then MMRR. I think we got to MMRR around 9? Anyway, it was only about a 25 minute wait at that point, and that was a solid hour after we got on ROTR.

I don't know if that helps you at all, but basically what we observed was that it took a bit for MMRR to get busy.

If you happen to be there late, we also found that the line got super short in the last 30-60 minutes of park time.

I had low expectations for G+ at DHS but felt like we got our money's worth all things considered.

Here's your priority order as G+ sits today-
1-Slinky
2-tower
3-Runaway Railway

When you say Toy Story Land assume you also mean Toy Story Mania and Alien Swirling Saucers...you may still be able to get a TSM G+ later in the day but I would put TSM as #4 and Aliens way down on the list.

Slinky will sell out faster than TOT so def go for that first. Try for MMRR at rope drop as most guests will be headed to Slinky or SWROR. If you don't get a G+ you really want, just get in line a few min before close to hopefully get a shorter wait. And while you're standing in line, just keep refreshing. There are times when G+ are added. I noticed a few times while in line for TOT last week where MMRR was added. I never bothered booking it since we were in line for the time.

We were there this past week and had luck getting there very early for EE. Did slinky and all of Toy Story before doing Mickey and Minnie. We got a genie+ for Smugglers, but I think you could just as easily get one for Tower.

When we went in March, we couldn't get LL or Genie + for Slinky Dog or Tower. We just waited in the lines. The only thing we did get them for was M&M Runaway Railway, Toy Story Mania, and a character experience. :( Good luck!

How early did you get there? I am hoping to get an early LL for MMRR, rope drop Slinky then go to TSM, get a ILL for Rise (if we are lucky!) and single rider MFSR

But for that plan to work I am thinking we have to get there very early… (and we need Slinky to be up and running first thing in the morning)
we will be at the beach club so we can walk there which should help! But I would like to know how soon to arrive 😊

I hope this isn’t too late. But we were there around 730-745 with early entry. Park opened at 8. We were at BW so I wanted to walk but our friends wanted to try the skyliner so we walked to Epcot then took skyliner to Hollywood.
We walked right to Mickey and Minnie and waited like 5 min. I did get a slinky dog pass for later in the day but our friends wanted to ride twice so we waited standby for nearly and hour. But if you go right to slinky for early entry (earlier than early entry actually) I bet you won’t wait long at all.

I had early entry for HS last week and was able to walk-on to Toy Story Mania, 5 minutes. I would book something for later that morning and do Mania first. Also can usually get on Mickey and Minnie early in the morning without much of a wait.
