Advice for first night Dinner etc...

I need all of your great ideas and such---this is my first post. We are arriving in Orlando at 5pm Nov. 3rd, renting a car (National) and staying off site in Kissimmee at Sunset Lakes. Where would be a good place to eat dinner (off site) near where we are staying? Also, how much time should we allow to get to the parks from where we are staying? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
