I am a little concerned that I will have trouble hearing back from them once they make their selections.

Just be sure to give them a cell phone # - I got the dreaded "no" call while we were sitting having Mickey bars at OKW last year! Being at WDW certainly helped soften the blow!

Congratulations and best wishes to all of the round 3 participants this week! I lucked into (stumbled upon) the mom's panel original announcement, then when I was notified about round 2 the wave of excitement started to sweep me up. It wasn't until this weekend when I located this site that I began to comprehend the tremendous talent, knowledge, and enthusiasm of the other participants.

I am a novice chatroom/blogger/community boarder (what is this??) - but I do have one piece of advice for all of the interviewees based on my corporate work experience. While I agree that you must be yourself in the interview, we all know that it is difficult to fully represent who you are and all that you have to offer in a 30 minute interview (or 100 words or less) so assert some control in the interview and know that it is fair game for you to ask a few questions of the interviewers. For example when describing myself I would focus on working mom to 2 active kids - but Disney may have an interest in my culinary experience, or the fact that one of my children has a severe food allergy (Disney rocks at this!). Make it conversational so that you can lead them and they can lead you through a solid interview. btw - I am soooo applying again for 2010!

Hope you guys don't mind an off-topic question here, but I find you're all so darn smart that you MUST know the answer to this one..

Can the Photopass DVD be copied once you receive it? I know that the CD can, that you are buying the rights to reproduce all the pics, but I can't find anything that says one way or the other about the DVD. Any info?

The PhotoPass CD includes a "release" that gives you permission to print the images and make copies of the CD for your personal use. The release is an image file included on the CD -- you just print it out to take to any print shop that asks for proof that you have the permission to print/copy the files.

That happened to me last year. But I was too afraid to say anything, but the I was so nervous, I totally botched the phone interview. I have never wished for a redo so much! My advice is to bring it up right away. They assured me that it was a mistake and they sent me the wrong email, but I was so flustered. Hopefully, my problem last year will save you some pain this year! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Oh my gosh...I just received the same thing and sent a "what happened" email to the panel. Glad it was not just not me as I thought I had already been crossed off even before my interview.

I just got my rejection email this afternoon as well (made it to Round 2, but not Round 3).

I have to admit that after getting over the shock of making it to Round 2, I was VERY bummed at not making it farther, a lot more upset than I thought I would be. But, I'm so impressed with the email I received today!

A huge shout out to Amy, Duncan, Leanne, Laura and all those cast members associated with the Moms Panel - the email instead of feeling like rejection was so professional and compassionate. It made me feel like I was a winner in my own right and that I was part of a special club! Which I guess I am, but when you don't go on it doesn't feel like that!

Anyway, thanks for softening the blow!! Good luck to all you Round 3ers
