Thats for keeping up, I am sure your busy enough!!:goodvibes

Hi Julie, I'd like to know more about this...thanks!

Diane

Diane,

The podcast was made by a man in Calf. who wanted to start running again. He has taken the "couch to 5k" program and set it to music. What's nice about the whole thing is he will tell you when to run and when to cool down. The music is very easy to enjoy (funny thing is I'm a dancer so I often find myself trying to run to the beat of the music:rotfl2: ) It's very motivating and easy to keep up with. Here is the link www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcasts/ he has the program broken down by weeks and will walk you through the entire run. Let me know if you try it.

Hi Julie - thanks for sharing...just finished the podcast for week 1...that was a nice workout. I did it on the treadmill ... it was like having a personal trainer right there with me!

Hi Everybody~ Looks like the panel has been a huge success, you ladies (and gent) are doing a great job!

How do you feel now that you are a couple months into it? Has it been more/less demanding than you thought? Harder than it looks?

I was contacted to be profiled in the next Mickey Moms newsletter - so I guess they really did have some other ideas up their sleeves for us didnt-quite-make-it panelist wannabes! Keep an eye out for it ;)

~Karen

I just saw your pic and bio, Karen - nice to meet you!:goodvibes

I just got my Mickey Moms newsletter today -- it says we are still supposed to get our welcome packet!! I can't wait to see it!

Thanks for the clarifications MP on the interviews and Disney policy.

You all do a great job!

Yes, it is very cute! I'm secretly hoping that it comes with a t-shirt or something that I can wear on my upcoming May trip! But I think that's probably asking for too much...

KarenP - your boys are beautiful...that was a GREAT pic! Loved the newsletter!

Karen,
your children are adorable!

I enjoyed reading the newsletter. We were told on our last conference call that the Welcome Packet would be arriving soon! But no info on what is going to be included.

Yeah, the way the newsletter read ("In your applications, you told us how much you like to share information about Walt Disney World Resort, and we hope the tools you'll find inside this Founder Kit will help you do just that."), I'm expecting to find a vacation-planning DVD and some promotional materials. I certainly wouldn't complain, though, if the package includes a few extra surprises! :rolleyes1 It would be cool if Disney Destinations managed to enclose something with the Mickey Moms Club logo on it -- like a button, a note pad or a pen! :thumbsup2

Did anyone download the spring organization schedule? I am excited, but I still want Disney mail!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

To Mickey Moms Club member, Karen P: what a wonderful picture of you with your children; they are ADORABLE! I especially enjoyed the story you shared about Maya (4) unexpectedly meeting her favorite princess Cinderella, I love hearing about special memories like this. Your nice tip about the Mickey Bar breaks is so true; they can help a lot!

To Disney, thank you for taking the time to make our group the very nice logo and borders.

I don't know what this is?:confused3

Hi DVCsince02,

I downloaded the “Moms Spring Organizational Calendar” from a link in the latest Mickey Moms Club email. It is a nice tool that can help you plan your days starting right now through July. Each of the two pages detail two months by displaying one month on each half of the page. The dates for each month are listed in single file format.

On these pages you will find the Mickey Moms Club logo printed among other cute pictures of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Cinderella Castle. There is one picture looking down from the top of Summit Plummet. There are lots of little places to jot down some events which are important to many moms, for example: last day of school, recitals, graduation, camp, birthdays, after school activities, organize play room, studying for end of the year exams, spring cleaning, organize kids closets, schedule kids sport physicals, fun summer stuff to do, summer reading, summer camp, swimming lessons, and at the end of July there is a checklist for when an array of back to school stuff is completed. I like this calendar format.

I got my mickey mom's club package in the mail today. It was a real surprise since I never got the email. In fact I never got any email from them (even the 1st time saying I was not selected to be part of the mom's pannel.

At least I know know my application did in fact make it in. I wonder if I put my email address down wrong. :confused3

The package is very cool, and in a lime green folder. hmmmmmmmmm:rolleyes1

Thanks, DisneyPhD.

I just read your post in another thread, so I rushed to my mailbox to see if anything good had arrived! (...Nothing yet, so I guess I'll have something fun to look forward to next week! :woohoo: )

Link to "Mom Panel Kit" Thread

Spoiler Alert: Don't click through to the linked thread if you want the package's contents to remain a surprise. (It sounds like Disney was quite generous, btw!) :thumbsup2
