Once Again, Disneyland Retail Strikes Out...

We have tickets for Sunday, guess I will check them out. Somehow I suspect whatever they have is sold out early... like you I have become a bit fatigued with how hard it is to give them money for merch! I mostly try not to look at anything unless I'm in the park and see it with my own eyes!

The only note I would make is that a lot of times my wife has something she wants, but can not find her size….

So if she has an idea of what she wants going in and we see it in her size we buy it right away instead of waiting until the end of the trip if we know it’s an in-demand item.

my husband just said, "honey, its like Costco...you see it, you want it, you buy it cause chances are if its gone, it wont be back"....

Its funny because Disney store has these sweaters with Mickey, Donald, and Daisy that they have had on sale for MONTHS...and they are still full price at the park...

The Sweetheart's Nite merchandise was released today. They have special ears, a tshirt, a sweatshirt, a Tervis tumbler, and a pin.

What people don't realize is that when anytime there is a holiday any stores will put out batches of seasonal merchandise and people when the merchandise arrives will rush right out and get their hands on whatever they can because they know the stores will run out right away. In Disneyland's case the shops should post a sign saying this to let customers know and understand "TO ALL CUSTOMERS DUE TO SUPPLY AND DEMAND SOME DISNEYLAND VALENTINE'S DAY MERCHANDISE WILL COME IN THE WEEKS AHEAD. HOWEVER YOU CAN FIND VALENTINE'S DAY MERCHANDISE AT DISNEY STORE. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" and with this sign the customers would understand. And it is not just Disneyland that is experiencing this but all stores too. Take for instance Mom was at CVS and they had no Valentine's Day merchandise and Walmart has already put out it's Valentine's Day merchandise with candy and other things. So what I think happened is that Disneyland put out way too much Valentine's Day merchandise at the end of New Year's Day and once people saw that they went wild because to me it's like the holiday movie Jingle All The Way when everyone wanted a Turboman action figure
