If you apply, and don't get accepted to be on the panel, do you get a "consulation prize packet"? I've seen something about where some people got a little packet in the mail with stickers, etc. (can't remember where)

Today is the day....I told DH I will have the "Do Not Disturb" sign up , have to have a clear mind....with a toddler (who should be sleeping then! lol) a pre teen and a teenager....no distractions tonight! LOL

Curious to see what the "questionnaire" will be like....!

There are no guarantees, but -- last year -- Disney surprised all members of the Mickey Moms Club with a very cool introductory prize (and info) packet. (Disney created the Club for all of the die-hard Disney fans who applied to the Moms Panel contest.)

One thing is certain: Disney has promised that "Everyone who submits an application for the 2009 Walt Disney World Moms panel will be invited to join the Mickey Moms Club." (That's a direct quote from a past issue of the Mickey Moms newsletter, btw.)

Oh! And, last year, all first and second-round applicants received nifty personalized electronic "stationary" (Mickey and Minnie-themed "From the desk of..." note paper and list-making templates). Waaaay cool!

I can't see it either on the announcement page. I currently have disneyworldmoms.com attempting to load but it's s-l-o-w.

Hmmmm - this thread suddenly got quiet. I wonder where everyone went and what they could be doing!

I think it got quite as they threw us the "do not copy/paste" loop. I had to really concentrate making sure I typed it just right in the boxes. Plan B was to print out my answers to make sure I covered everything but after I printed everything out, I realized there was no ink in the printer (thus - a bunch of white papers)!

Oh, well, I applied, I'm sure many of you did too - good luck!

I copied and pasted just fine. You just have to hit the space bar afterwards for the word count function to work. I think I read it 10 times to ensure every word was there as I originally typed it.

Well, I'm in. Let the waiting begin!

Was everyone sent directly to the three essays with the submit button in the lower right corner?

I was thinking there would be some questions and a photo upload before I saw a Submit button. Submit seems so final, if there were more wouldn't it say continue?

When you click Submit do you get sent to another page to do the questions and the photo upload?

Hi!

My application has been submitted! How fun! Good luck to everyone! I felt comfortable answering the questions and it is so hard to do the 100 words or less! Wonder how fast it is going get to 20k? I was stressing because I had problems with my password! Oops, just realized I forgot something..oh well! Now two things...oops!

Anyway, it is in...I know a few of you will be on the NEW PANEL!

As always, to the 2008 panel....you were AWESOME!!

I didn't think you would have to do that until maybe the second or third round? Please clarify. I haven't been on the board much because it is so crazy. Can you explain? THANKS SO MUCH!
