advance ticket purchase

do you save any money if you purchase your 7 days passes before you book your reservations at the resort. I purchased my last passes from a broker long before we got resort booked and it went ok but wonder if there is advantage to doing it all at one time.

Disney doesn't have any discounts on regular tickets that I know of. We always go through Ticketmania. Mousesavers readers get an additional discount and We have always had a great experience.

From your signature, I'm assuming that you're talking about tickets for your May trip? If that's the case, I would recommend holding off on any ticket purchase until Disney announces their discounts and package plans for that time of year. It's entirely possible that they may have some sort of package deal that would make it less expensive to buy the tickets from them as a part of the package than it would be to just book a a room and buy your tickets from an outside source.

As far as pre-purchasing discounts go, Disney does not discount MYW base tickets. However, they do offer discounts for advance-purchases of MYW Hoppers, MYW w/pluses and MYW premium passes. It's been my experience that Ticketmania and DiscountOrlandoVacation have beat them out on prices for those passes and also offer discounts on the base tickets as well.

I'm a mousesaver subscriber how can I find out what the discount is for mousesaver readers to ticketmania? I went to the mousesaver website and it said it's not posted and I had to subscribe to the newsletter which I already am. Is there a certain newsletter that has the code in it that someone could tell me? Or tell me the month of the newsletter that it came out in, hopefully I'll still have it? TIA

The link is in just about every month's newletter, although the offer may change from month to month. Look for the yellow box that says "In This Issue" inside of it. There is a list of links, the first of which is titled "Newsletter Exclusive Disney World Ticket Discounts". Click on it and it will move you down the page to the links to both Ticketmania and DiscountOrlandoVacation. Click on those links to see the discounted ticket prices and how to order.

Great thanks, I'll check that out. I was just in the process of checking out ticket prices on there for a future trip. A discount is always great to run across.
