To clarify, if Disney built a resort that catered only to adults: Would you stay there? Why or why not?

Just curious...

Depends on budget.
Moderate pic would be POR in mansion section or Pofq

Deluxe would very much depend on your budget as pricing varies a lot. Also which park you want to be closest to

If it was a moderate or value resort I would stay there. I think deluxe is way to expencive.

If I am reading this correctly and you are saying if there was an adult only resort on property would you stay there? Our answer would be no as we enjoy all different ages at our resorts. Even when it was just me and DH before we had our DS16 we always stayed at resorts that had all ages.

I so would and I do have kids, but we still plan on going to Disney once they're grown and on their own. I would love it! No more "code brown" in the pools, :rotfl2:

OP I may have read your wording wrong. I thought you were asking which WDW resort you'd stay at for adult only trip.:confused3. Not on site vs off site.

There seems to be some confusion as to what you mean

My kids are adults in their 20's and we'd always choose to stay on site. Either in a moderate or deluxe.

Many reasons, we love to stay inside WDW for the perks of free airport pick up, extra magic hours, no need to rent a car, WDW has good resort to park transportation, parcel delivery to your resort. When we go to WDW, we just do that while in Orlando. It's a huge park, and even with 10+ days I never run out of things to do.

Also we like taking a mid day pool break so its very easy to do staying on site.

Even better would be if they had an adult only hotel and a kids only hotel. It could be like the kids clubs, but you drop them off for the length of your trip and meet up with them for dinner and such. :scratchin

I hope it is obvious that I am joking.

I'd like to see an adult only hotel on property, but at the value or moderate level. Generally, those who can afford the expensive hotels can afford to send their kids somewhere else!!! Those who can only afford value would probably appreciate the break from kids more!!!!

Sorry about the confusion. To clarify, if Disney built a resort that catered only to adults, would you be interested in staying there?

An adults only resort on property? I'd be there in a heartbeat. I love kids. But if we aren't travelling with family I would love a place that would be quieter- not just the rooms, but the public areas as well. I'd even be willing to go deluxe to get this.

I kinda like the idea of Kids around my resort. For me they add a level of excitement and joy and I really love seeing them have fun at the resort, even if they are not my own.

That being said, if Disney did offer an adults only resort I wonder what kind of amenities and services they would include to make that experience different from the other resorts. Right now I can't think of anything that I would be interested in that is lacking at the other resorts.

Any ideas on what should be offered at an adults only resort?

I'm not understanding this. We are lucky enough to be able to stay at Deluxe resorts, but if we're going to WDW...why would we be sending our kids somewhere else? Why does less income mean you need a break from your kids more than someone else? Sincerely not trying to start something up, but I don't get this.

-stewed prunes on the breakfast menu?:lmao:
-mimosas on the breakfast menu? :thumbsup2
-REAL coffee
-instead of kid's clubs in the evening how about masseuses giving foot and leg massages for guests returning from the parks?
-instead of disney movies by the pool, how about live music by the pool bar (which would be open til midnight).
-ALL the pools are quiet pools
-The resort is a hub and spoke arrangement with the main building in the center so that no room is a hike to the dining areas.

:scratchin maybe..but I've seen some nasty adults at WDW too that I wouldn't want to be near!!!
Aside from 1 stay at POR where the mother just let her 3 kids run up and down the outside walkway screaming and yelling, repeatedly slamming the room door, :( I've never been bothered with children at the resorts.
When I finally had enough of the racket in front of our room and walked out of the room, mom askedif there was a problem :rotfl2: ummmmm
