Next trip is adults only for our anniversary. There's a party while we're there and we want to go but like to pack light on trips. Will we feel out of place if we don't wear costumes?

I don't think you'll feel out of place. I don't dress up when I've gone to MNSSHP and I've not felt odd. You'll see a good mixture of people, some will be dressed up and some will not.

I have never dressed up and never felt odd. I think you will be fine.

No you won't. By far the vast majority of adults do not dress up.

I don't think you will feel out of place at all if you don't dress up. I would say about half the adults, or maybe less, have on costumes.

If you want to pack light but would still like to do something for the party, maybe you could do some kind of Halloween shirts. One year DH and I made Mickey tie dyed shirts in Halloween colors. Another example is shirts with a jack-o-lantern face on it or skeleton shirts.

Either way you will be fine.

You won't feel out of place.

We have been in regular clothes but last year we decided to kind of get into the halloween spirt with our tshirts. DH wore a grumpy tshirt and I wore a Nightmare Before Christmas tshirt and zip up hoodie for when it got cool. They were lightweight and easy to pack. I washed them and we wore them later in the week too.

Have fun!
