D luxe burger maybe?

Oh that really sucks! Le Cellier is really not cheap and to pay those prices for a bad meal, I would be really upset. After your post I went to check the reviews, menu and prices. I didn't realize it was going to be so expensive with all the entrées costing a min. of $50. With the exchange (I'm Canadian by the way) it will come out to $70 CAD. I think that is a little too steep for a steak no matter how good it is!In previous years, we always went to Le Cellier and loved it. Also, in those same previous years, Coral Reef was less than stellar.
The last 2 - 3 times we visited Le Cellier, none of us were impressed. The steaks are not very flavorful, the food is no where near the prices they charge and the service is just okay.
Coral Reef, on the other hand, has been very very good. We have been very pleased with it and pleasantly surprised.
Sanaa is wonderful--both the food and service! Raglan Road is also fun for a (non-romantic) night out. My DH and I had our 15th anniversary dinner at Jiko and it was lovely
Have fun celebrating--how sweet of your husband to surprise you with a trip!
Wow thanks for the great suggestions.
Narcossee's looks so nice. I will definitely look into it!
I have never tried Artist point and am tempted since I always wanted to check out WL. Maybe will do on my MK night.
Read so many bad reviews on Coral Reef, I decided to go with Le Cellier instead. Should I switch?
We did V&A two years ago and was blown away with the food but I think I will skip it this time. We are looking for something a little more relaxed.
Your plans sound great! Lounges are a great option. I never think of it since I am always with the kids.
Have a great vacation.
Crew's cup in the Yachtsman is a neat lounge with good food!
A few years ago, I read a blog from someone who was on the hunt for the best burger on property & after trying them all said Crew's Cup was the best. I've never been but other than the burger, the menu looks really good (especially the truffle fries)! I want to try to eat there during my trip this Sept. but with F&W happening, not sure if it will make it on the itinerary.
I will be there last week of September eating some of the fries (If only they would let us order the Truffle Mac and Cheese from Yachtsman in there) and drinking a couple beers before our ADR for Yachtsman. Looking forward to it We are doing wine and dine for a couple lunches that week and possibly one evening too.Crew's cup looks cool guys. Best burgers hey?
Beaches and Cream is great for sundaes, but the food is pretty average. My DH and I agreed on our last trip that we would only go for sundaes from now on, as the prices just are too high for the food we received.
I know it's not on your agenda (yet ... haha) but Narcoossee's is a very romantic dinner depending how you time it. My DH and I went on our last trip at 8 pm, and we were able to watch the Electrical Water Pageant on the lagoon as well as the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from their deck. It's pricey, but we thought it was the best dinner we had ever had. We ordered a steak, lobster, and the almond crusted cheesecake and shared all of it. Very romantic!
I have read rave reviews of Shula's Steakhouse, so my DH and I are going to try it on our next visit.
One idea for your MK day... how about having BOG for lunch and going to LTT for dinner? LTT has the most delicious family style meal (it's basically Thanksgiving food). That way you would still get to experience BOG. We think the braised pork is delish at lunch!
