Adult only trip! Restaurant suggestions?

Sanaa is wonderful--both the food and service! Raglan Road is also fun for a (non-romantic) night out. My DH and I had our 15th anniversary dinner at Jiko and it was lovely :)

Have fun celebrating--how sweet of your husband to surprise you with a trip!

In previous years, we always went to Le Cellier and loved it. Also, in those same previous years, Coral Reef was less than stellar.

The last 2 - 3 times we visited Le Cellier, none of us were impressed. The steaks are not very flavorful, the food is no where near the prices they charge and the service is just okay.
Coral Reef, on the other hand, has been very very good. We have been very pleased with it and pleasantly surprised.
Oh that really sucks! Le Cellier is really not cheap and to pay those prices for a bad meal, I would be really upset. After your post I went to check the reviews, menu and prices. I didn't realize it was going to be so expensive with all the entrées costing a min. of $50. With the exchange (I'm Canadian by the way) it will come out to $70 CAD. I think that is a little too steep for a steak no matter how good it is!

Finally, I went ahead and canceled Le Cellier. Finally, I decided not to book a restaurant for lunch and just "drink" and "snack" around the world showcase instead. There are so many yummy QS options, I think it will just be more enjoyable.

Thanks again for the heads up!

I just book Raglan Road for our last night. I always wanted to try it and after so many people recommending it on this board, I am going ahead with it.

I am still debating which to book: Sanaa or Jiko. I am going to reserve at least one. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow thanks for the great suggestions.

Narcossee's looks so nice. I will definitely look into it!

I have never tried Artist point and am tempted since I always wanted to check out WL. Maybe will do on my MK night.

Read so many bad reviews on Coral Reef, I decided to go with Le Cellier instead. Should I switch?

We did V&A two years ago and was blown away with the food but I think I will skip it this time. We are looking for something a little more relaxed.

Don't count Coral Reef out. Went there last year for the first time and it was one of the best meals I've ever had.

DW and I don't have any kids so our trips are always adults only.

At Disney Springs, we dined at Morimoto Asia this past April and enjoyed it. We also had a nice lunch at Chefs De France that trip.

We've dined at Kona Cafe twice and enjoyed both visits. Be sure to visit Trader Sam's!

Crew's cup in the Yachtsman is a neat lounge with good food!

A few years ago, I read a blog from someone who was on the hunt for the best burger on property & after trying them all said Crew's Cup was the best. I've never been but other than the burger, the menu looks really good (especially the truffle fries)! I want to try to eat there during my trip this Sept. but with F&W happening, not sure if it will make it on the itinerary.

Well, that burger is cooked along side the best Steaks from a Disney operated restaurant on site. pirate: I will be there last week of September eating some of the fries (If only they would let us order the Truffle Mac and Cheese from Yachtsman in there) and drinking a couple beers before our ADR for Yachtsman. Looking forward to it We are doing wine and dine for a couple lunches that week and possibly one evening too.

Beaches and Cream is great for sundaes, but the food is pretty average. My DH and I agreed on our last trip that we would only go for sundaes from now on, as the prices just are too high for the food we received.

I know it's not on your agenda (yet ... haha) but Narcoossee's is a very romantic dinner depending how you time it. My DH and I went on our last trip at 8 pm, and we were able to watch the Electrical Water Pageant on the lagoon as well as the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from their deck. It's pricey, but we thought it was the best dinner we had ever had. We ordered a steak, lobster, and the almond crusted cheesecake and shared all of it. Very romantic!

I have read rave reviews of Shula's Steakhouse, so my DH and I are going to try it on our next visit.

One idea for your MK day... how about having BOG for lunch and going to LTT for dinner? LTT has the most delicious family style meal (it's basically Thanksgiving food). That way you would still get to experience BOG. We think the braised pork is delish at lunch!

Oh that sounds like a great idea for my MK day. I've never been to LTT for dinner, only lunch. Narcossee is super tempting too because I am right next door at the Poly and could just walk over. I have to look over all my stuff and see what night I can fit it in. There are so many great options that I feel overwhealmed. I might just sit down tonight and switch around my schedule.
:faint:

Ok guys check out my new ADR at the top.

I was able to get an ADR for BOG for lunch and Ohana' on my first day so I switched my park day to MK instead of AK.

I also changed our lunch at Le Cellier to Coral Reef after reading so many encouraging reviews.

I decided to keep B&C for now but might change my mind closer to the travel dates but changed it to an earlier time because we decided that we wanted to go check out the nightly entertainment in HS.

Day 5 we are planning to hang at the resort until MNSSHP that night. If it is nice we want to relax by the pool but if the weather is bad we are going to maybe check out the Eave or WCC for a late breakfast or lunch.

On our water park day we had booked CG for that night as our romantic anniversary dinner. I am wondering though if we will be too tired after a day in the sun and was able to book CG on the following day. Any thoughts?

On our AK day, I decided to add Tusker House for breakfast since we canceled our AK day on day 1. We love TH breakfast and didn't want to miss out.
Right now I have Ragland Road that night since we will be staying at POFQ that night and have the boat to DTD but am debating staying in AK until closing (9:00PM) and booking Yak and Yeti or the new signature restaurant there Tiffins?
