HI, I've been to WDW about 12 times, but have never done ADR and have not eaten TS meals there. I am going with my BFF in June and our daughters, mine who is 12 and her daughter is 6.

These are the ADR's that I will be paying OOP for- (No dining plan available to purchase in our circumstance - just FYI)

Jun 8 - Ohana Bkfast 10:25 am
Bibbidi Bobbidi Botique 5:20 (wondering if that is worth it also?)
CRT 7:10

June 9 - Chef Mickeys 5:15 pm

June 10 - 1900 Park Fare 7:15 --- or June 11 at 5:40
I will be leaving an insurance class at 5:20 at the Boardwalk Hotel and not sure if I can make 5:40 reservation? It would be nice to eat earlier though.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

Getting to 1900 at the GF from the Boardwalk in 20 minutes probably isn't possible, even if you take a cab. Remember also that you are supposed to check in for your ADR 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

Being "worth it" is different for each and every single family. Often the food alone isn't worth the money you pay for at Disney, especially some of the character meals. However, for us personally, we pay for the experience.

A few thoughts:

If you have a 10:25am O'hana reservation, you won't be able to get into the parks until at least midday.

You won't be able to make 1900 from Boardwalk within 20 minutes

We usually allow 30 minutes from the BWI lobby to any of the MK resorts when taking a taxi. If you can leave your class a little earlier, there are usually taxis at the BWI entrance and the actual ride is only about 15 minutes. 1900 Park Fare is just inside the main entrance of the GF and close to where the taxi will drop you off.

Usually restaurants will give a 15 minute grace period after your res time, although they prefer that you check in a little early. Also restaurants usually won't let you check in until everyone is there.

I would be stressed because 20 minutes isn't enough time, but there are some people who thrive on making deadlines by the skin of their teeth. I would try to leave the class a little earlier (maybe speak to the instructor in advance) or keep checking for a res around 6:00. :)

BBB is so worth it if you have a princess obsessed daughter and you will love CRT. That will be a night she will always remember!

I think 12 may be too old for Bibbidi Bobbidi - if it isn't, it's right at the cutoff.

You will probably not make it from Boardwalk to 1900 Park Fare unless you have a car - and even then you will probably be cutting it very close because of the state of self-parking at the Grand Floridian. This resort may be WDW's flagship resort but it has the worst self-parking lot on property. To cut down on time you might wish to valet park if you are driving.
