Thinking about making an ADR for dinner at whispering canyon cafe, is there a time that is better (earlier vs later as far as how busy it gets?)

Also, we will probably end up getting the 'all you care to enjoy' skillet, is this good/a good bargain? Does it include dessert?

So we have chosen these for our TS meals:
-Crystal palace (breakfast)
-Chef Mickey's (dinner)
-Garden Grille (Dinner)
-Raglan Road (Dinner)
-Whispering Canyon Cafe (Dinner)-this one is not definite, we are sure we want a meal at a resort (NOT a park), but aren't sure what to pick...we clearly like buffets/all you can eats (lol), so any tips on what resort restaurants are good food/good values is appreciated :)

We have gotten the skillet for both Breakfast and Lunch.

Now my question for you is are you on a Dining plan?

I think that if you are desert is included in the cost of lunch and dinner along with your non adult beverages.

The skillet is full of GOOD food the chicken at lunch was soo tender and juicy and the rub they used was out of this world! Their cornbread was the most fluffy and delicious I have ever had in my life! I could gorge myself on their mashed potatoes and the corn was JUST right!

We have 2 ADR's going for WCC for our July trip and we will continue to go back there. The service was great and the food was too!

Yes we are on the dining plan, so that is good to know that we can do the skillet and a dessert for each person

It sounds like the skillet is good-I think we will def be trying this out :)

I LOVED the WCC food. I found that their salad (and the strawberry dressing) was the best salad in the whole world.

The chicken and cornbread were awesome. The only thing I didn't like was the baked beans- but that's probably b/c I'm from Boston, and we're used to sweeter baked beans here. The ones at the WCC were a little too smoky (and not sweet enough) for me.

All in all, it was one of my favorites in the world.

Whispering Canyons is great food for breakfast /lunch or dinner:surfweb: is a lot of room in theere so anytime is good time to go:banana:

I had the skillet for lunch. I really liked the ribs, and the chicken. I didn't try the sausage. I thought the cornbread, coleslaw, and baked beans were all very good. My mashed potatoes were very sticky, like they had been overly handled.

I would probably ask for fries instead. Other folks seem to have enjoyed their potatoes, so it could have just been a bad batch that I was served from.
